Macon police looking into home invasion

Macon police are investigating a home invasion in which two armed men broke into a home Nov. 3.

The report said one of the victims who lives at a residence on Gleneagles Circle heard a door open about 1:45 a.m. When he went to investigate, he saw one of the suspects pointing a shotgun at him. The man with the gun ordered the victim to the ground and demanded money. The victim told him he didn’t have money in the house because he was robbed before. The man then demanded the victim’s wedding band and took it along with a TV.

The second suspect was upstairs and busted through the door of a bedroom and ordered the victim’s brother-in-law to turn around, the report said.

That suspect took $20 out of a wallet and reportedly said “I’m not a bad person, I have kids.”

The suspects also allegedly stole a laptop and made a mess of the house, pouring bottles of alcohol all around the house and messing up papers.
