Macon man shot in the arm

A 22-year-old Macon man was shot in the arm early Saturday morning, according to the Macon police.

Officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Recreation Road at about 3:10 a.m. in reference to gunshots, according to a police report. Tony Lewis, of Recreation Road, was shot in the arm. He told officers he didn’t know who shot him, according to the report.

Lewis told officers he was walking down from the upper area of Rockland Apartments when someone started shooting. Officers recovered eight 9 mm shell casings and two .40 caliber shell casings, according to the report.
