A woman was forced into a vehicle and assaulted early Friday morning, Macon police said.
The incident began at 3:16 a.m. while the 21-year-old woman was walking near the Petro station at 2765 Houston Ave., according to a police news release. A dark-colored sport utility vehicle pulled up and a male passenger asked the woman if she needed a ride. After she said no, the passenger forced her into the SUV.
She was driven past the Shoppes at River Crossing on Riverside Drive to a secluded area and assaulted.
The two attackers were black males, one light-skinned and the other short and stocky.
Mardi Gras beads and a CD with the word Panama were hanging from the SUV’s rear-view mirror. The back of the front-seat headrest had the words Dora the Explorer.
