Evidence recovered at Woolfolk St. shooting scene

Police recovered 21 shell casings from the scene of a Monday shooting at the corner of Woolfolk and Bowman streets, according to a Macon police report released Tuesday.

Antonio Johnson, 19, of Woolfolk Street, was shot below his right shoulder blade while standing near a tree on the corner, according to the police.

A black Kia pulled up to the intersection, stopped and idled for a few moments and then turned onto Woolfolk Street. A man in the front passenger seat opened fire through a window with a rifle, possibly an AK47. Police found shell casings from small- and large-caliber weapons, according to the police.

No one has been arrested.
