Car damaged by gunfire in Macon

A car was damaged by gunfire early Tuesday morning in the 3000 block of Tyler Drive, according to the Macon police.

A woman told police she heard gunshots outside between midnight and 1 a.m. When she went outside, she found her mother’s car had been damaged, according to a police report.

The windshield, driver’s window, a door and a side mirror had holes in them, according to the report.
