Home invader enters through unlocked window in Macon

A 37-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning by a man who climbed through her unlocked bathroom window, according to the Macon police.

Police responded to the 3000 block of Sherry Drive at about 4:40 a.m. in response to a home invasion call, according to a police report.

The woman told police she was asleep when the man, wearing a black hood, entered her bathroom window. The man, holding a gun, woke her and demanded money, according to the report.

The man allegedly took the woman’s purse, money and cell phone. Pointing a gun in her back, the man left through the front door, according to the report.
