Intruders injure woman in her Macon apartment

A Magnolia Street woman told police she awoke to the sound of three men in her apartment early Monday morning and was held down on her bed by her neck while the men searched her apartment, according to the Macon police.

The 21-year-old woman told the police the men ran away at about 3:15 a.m. after taking her cell phone, according to a Macon police report.

She was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia where she was treated and released. Police were unable to describe the woman’s injuries Monday.

Police officers noted on a report that there was damage to the woman’s front door.
