Shots fired at west Bibb County home

An unidentified man is wanted for allegedly opening fire outside a house on 128 Bobby Jones Blvd. around 10:26 a.m. Thursday.

The man approached the house, knocked loudly on the front door and windows, and then pulled out a chrome handgun, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Matthew Jones, 21, of Macon, and his girlfriend Lachina Brown, 20, were in the house at the time, but were not injured.

Before shooting, the man allegedly yelled that he knew the two were in the house, according to the release. Then he began to shoot toward the house.

The shooter fled on foot wearing a red skull cap, a red bandana covering his face, a black shirt and blue jeans. He is described as a black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a slender build.
