Macon woman accused of hiding boyfriend accused of murder

An officer working for the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a 29-year-old Macon woman on charges of aiding and abetting and hindering apprehension.

Vontessa Coleman is currently being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center for allegedly harboring Kedrain Burdett, her boyfriend, according to a Macon police report.

Burdett is wanted for murder and aggravated assault.

When investigator E. Hogan entered Rolling Wood Lane Southeast in Atlanta, looking for Burdett, he observed several items that he knew to belong to Coleman, according to the report. As the officer believed the location was Burdett’s “hiding location,” he arrested Coleman for aiding and abetting.
