Task force arrests Macon man in connection with rape case

The Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a Macon man Wednesday afternoon in connection with the May rape of a 15-year-old girl, a Macon police report states.

According to the report, the task force arrested Daniel Monterio Small, 19, in the 100 block of Camp Hope Church Road, and charged him with rape, aggravated sodomy and false imprisonment.

Small had been sought in the rape and sodomy of the 15-year-old girl May 8 in a vacant building on Glendale Avenue, according to the report.

The investigation is ongoing.
