Couple robbed of money, beer after leaving Macon convenience store

A 28-year-old woman and her husband were robbed at gunpoint as they got into their car at 7-Eleven, 3609 Pio Nono Ave., about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the Macon police.

Two men pointed a gun at the couple and demanded money, according to a police report released Monday.

The men took the woman’s purse, cell phones, six beers and then told the couple to get out of their car, according to the report. The men then ran away toward Rice Mill Road, according to the police.
