Surveillance photos show store burglary in Bleckley County

The Bleckley County Sheriff’s office is hoping the public can identify the burglar who threw a concrete block through the door of the Sandhill Grocery store a week ago.

Surveillance cameras captured images of a man in a hat and sunglasses preparing to break the glass at the store at 686 Ga. 87 South.

The man entered the store and took the cash register shortly before 2 a.m. May 27.

Anyone with information that could identify the culprit is asked to call Lt. Daniel Cape at the Bleckley County Sheriff’s Office at (478) 934-5175.
