Dogs may have been poisoned

Macon police are investigating the deaths of two pit bulls found dead by their owner along with what appeared to be antifreeze in their water bowl.

A Pansy Avenue man reported finding the dogs dead at about 11:35 a.m. Thursday, according to a police report released Friday.

The man told police he suspects two men may have killed the dogs because of a fight between him and one of the men Sunday.
