WARNER ROBINS — Warner Robins police are investigating a shooting early Friday at a Heritage Woods apartment at 731 N. Davis Drive, police said.
Warner Robins police Sgt. Scott McSwain said police responded to a 911 call from a neighbor of the alleged aggravated assault and found Gregory Patrick Simpson, 48, suffering from a single gunshot wound inside his apartment.

Others at Simpson’s apartment told police that the person who allegedly shot Simpson had fled in a sport utility vehicle, the detective said.
