One arrested, another sought in Macon shooting

At least two gunshots were fired into a house in the 800 block of Elizabeth Street just before 4 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Macon police.

The resident told police she heard shots going off close to her house, so she got on the floor, according to a police report released Thursday.

The woman later discovered shots went into her daughter’s room and another room in the house, according to the report.

Officers arrested 26-year-old Anthony Antonio Threatt for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a sawed-off shotgun after responding to a report of shots fired near Nussbaum and Elizabeth streets, according to a police news release.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the arrest of 22-year-old Jeremy Douglass Ashley Thomas, aka PeeWee, on four counts of aggravated assault in connection with the shooting, according to the release.
