Woman hurt in Warner Robins wreck

A 39-year-old woman suffered critical injuries Saturday in a vehicle wreck in Warner Robins, according to a Warner Robins police news release.About 9:50 a.m., Connie Nanette Jackson of Warner Robins was headed north on South Third Street from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard when she lost control of her 1998 Oldsmobile Achieva and hit a utility pole, according to the release.Jackson suffered serious trauma in the head-on collision and had to be extricated from her vehicle, according to authorities. She was transported to The Medical Center of Central Georgia and remained in critical but stable condition late in the day, police said.Witnesses told police Jackson appeared to be speeding around a curve near Neisler’s Trailer Park shortly before she lost control of the Oldsmobile, according to the release.
