Police say Macon school worker arrested after exposing genitals to teen girl

A 57-year-old Macon man was arrested Friday after police said he exposed his genitals to a teenage girl walking home from school in the 2400 block of Beech Avenue.Joseph Finney, of 1034 Sunnydale Drive, is charged with indecent exposure in connection with the incident, according to a Macon police news release. He was released from the Bibb County jail on a $650 bond, according to jail records.Finney was arrested at his job, a privately funded elementary school, shortly after the incident Friday afternoon, according to the release.The 16-year-old girl had provided police with the license plate number of the green 1997 Plymouth Grand Voyager that Finney was driving, according to the release. His vehicle was impounded, according to authorities.Police spokeswoman Sgt. Melanie Hofmann could not confirm the school where Finney works or the nature of his employment.
