Second suspect arrested in Warner Robins home invasion

WARNER ROBINS — A second suspect in Sunday’s home invasion that included the kidnapping of a woman who showed up at the residence to “do a strip-tease dance” is in custody.

Brian J. Williams, 29, of Dublin, was arrested Thursday without incident in Dublin by the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Task Force, Houston County sheriff’s investigator Sgt. Al Elvins said in an e-mail.

Williams was charged with criminal attempt to commit armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, false imprisonment and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, Elvins said.

Hubert Allen Rudd, 23, of Bonaire, was previously charged with the same crimes, the investigator said.Williams and Rudd are accused of brandishing handguns and forcing their way into an apartment at 916 Corder Road at 11:15 p.m. in search of “ice” or “yellow,” common street names for methamphetamine, according to Elvins and the sheriff’s incident report.

The residents told authorities they didn’t know anything about any “ice” and the men searched through the apartment. While the home invasion was in progress, a woman came to the apartment to “do a strip-tease dance,” according to the report. The woman was forced to ride around with one of the men and eventually released. The men were being held at the Houston County jail.
