Shots fired into teen’s bedroom, according to Macon police

Two gunshots were fired into a 17-year-old’s bedroom about 1 p.m. Monday, according to the Macon police.

A woman living in the 1200 block of Ramona Avenue told police she heard several shots fired from what seemed like her backyard, according to a police report released Tuesday.

The teen was sleeping in a back bedroom when bullets passed through the wall about four feet above the bed, according to the report. He was not injured. Officers found a spent round on the bed. A shell casing also was found behind the house on Hawkinsville Avenue, according to the report.
