Man robbed of gun in car at intersection in Macon

A 26-year-old Clinton Road man was robbed while stopped in his car at the intersection of Boulevard and Clinton Road about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Macon police.

The man told police four young men approached his car. One of the men opened his passenger-side door, reached in and grabbed his handgun that was between the driver’s and passenger’s seat, according to a report.

The robber also hit the man in the head while taking the gun, according to the report.

The four men then ran away, according to the police.
