The murder trial of a man accused of killing a 31-year-old Milledgeville man in 2007 ended in a mistrial Monday, according to the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office.
The trial of Kenyatti Me’kel Collins began on March 30 and juror deliberations began April 1, said Reg Bellury, an assistant district attorney.Deliberations continued Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday, he said.
The judge declared a mistrial Monday morning after jurors still were unable to make a unanimous decision, Bellury said.
He said the case likely will be retried in late summer.
