A Gray woman has pleaded guilty in Connecticut to federal charges of producing child pornography.
Laura Culver, 53, who formerly lived in Connecticut but has most recently resided in Gray, entered her plea in U.S. District Court on Thursday, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office news release.
Prosecutors say court documents and statements made in court in 2001 and 2002 show Culver collaborated with 52-year-old Edgardo Sensi to videotape an 8-year-old girl engaging in sexually explicit conduct, according to the release.
The videotapes also show Culver and Sensi engaging in “illicit sex acts” with the girl, according to the release.
