An armed man robbed the Citi Financial on Presidential Parkway at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to Macon police.
The man, dressed in dark clothing with black fabric covering his face, walked into the loan business and demanded money from an employee after displaying a handgun, according to a police news release.
The robber fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
He was last seen traveling in a black, older model pickup truck toward Log Cabin Drive away from the Eisenhower Crossing shopping center, according to authorities.
Witnesses described him as a tall, slender black man wearing Dickies style clothing.No injuries were reported.
