Macon man accused of molesting children indicted

A 20-year-old Macon man has been indicted on charges he offered candy to two children and requested that the children undress in his bedroom, according to Bibb County Superior Court records.

Montree Antonio Davis, of Bennell Street, is charged with child molestation and two counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes, according to an indictment released Tuesday.

The incidents are reported to have occurred Oct. 5, 2008, and involved two children, ages 3 and 4, according to the indictment.

Davis was arrested Oct. 6, 2008, and is being held at the Bibb County jail on $6,900 bond, according to jail records.
