Resident reports shots fired at house in Macon

A man fired two shots into the door of a house in the 3300 block of Antioch Heights at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Macon police.

A resident told police two men approached his open front door, and one of the men asked the resident if he would sell him drugs, according to a police report released Thursday.

The resident replied that he did not sell drugs and asked the men to leave. One of the men tried to enter the house, according to the report.

When the resident noticed the men had a gun, he slammed the door shut and several shots were fired at the door, according to the report.

Police later found two bullet holes in the front door, two shell casings inside the house and two bullets inside the house, according to the report.

No one was injured.
