Two injured in Macon shooting during weekend

Two people were shot at a Macon Avenue house about 8 p.m. Sunday, according to a Macon police report released Monday.

Candice Erica Hill, 24, of Lithonia and 33-year-old James Fuller of Macon sustained non-life threatening wounds in the shooting, police said.

A witness told police about six or seven people were gathered at a friend’s house, located in the 1100 block of Macon Avenue, according to the police report.

The witness said the group was gambling, drinking and playing video games when they heard 25 to 30 shots being fired at the house, according to the report.

Another witness told police they believed the shooting was related to a witness testifying in a murder case, according to the report.
