Macon police arrested eight people and seized more than 600 containers of beer and 16 bottles of liquor after serving a search warrant at a house in the 1900 block of Bethlea Avenue on Sunday.
The homeowner, 61-year-old Frances Farley Little, was charged with operating a business without a license and being present in a dive, according to information released by police Monday. Little was released on $1,300 bond Sunday, according to Bibb County jail records.
Officers seized 646 bottles and cans of assorted beer and 16 assorted bottles of liquor from the house, according to a police news release.
Seven people also were charged with being present in a dive. Arrested were:
Pamela Little, 37, of Crystal Lake Circle; Lashonda D. West, 38, of Houston Road; Stephanie Horne, 24, of Eatonton; Antwain Osborne, 26, of Chambers Road; Jeffery Cherry, 44, of Bethlea Avenue; Michael Threatt, 44, of Bethlea Avenue; and Willie Colquitt, 54, of Houston Avenue, according to the release. Little, West, Horne, Cherry, Threatt and Colquitt were released on $650 bond Sunday, according to jail records.
Osborne was released Monday without paying bond, according to jail records.
