Man beaten, robbed in Macon at Riverwalk

A 56-year-old Pebble Street man was beaten and robbed in the Riverwalk parking lot off Spring Street just after 8 p.m. Thursday, according to the Macon police.

Three men approached the man as he walked to his car and one of the men beat him in the head with a stick, according to a police report. The other two men engaged the man in a physical altercation at the playground and threw him to the ground. The men handcuffed him and demanded money, according to the report. The men took the man’s wallet and walked away, according to the report.
