Macon gas station robbed

A man armed with a gun robbed Chevron gas station, 1681 Rocky Creek Road, just before 9 p.m. Thursday, according to the Macon police.

Employees said the man, dressed in black with a blue bandanna over his face, ran into the store with a gun in his hand and demanded money, according to a police report released Friday.

The gunman then ran behind the counter and placed a gun to an employee’s head while demanding more money, according to the report.

The man ran away toward Autumn Trace Apartments, according to the report.
