A man accused of robbing the Family Dollar, 1735 Shurling Drive, on Friday was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Task force at about 5:30 p.m. Monday, said Deputy U.S. Marshal John Edgar.
Information gathered through the investigation led task force members to 25-year-old Kendall Williams’ mother’s home where they arrested him, Edgar said.
Williams is charged with armed robbery and is being held at the Bibb County jail without bond, according to jail records.Macon police officers responded to the Family Dollar just after 8 p.m. Friday after a man entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money, according to police.
The man ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
