A Christmas grinch is reported to have taken wrapped gifts and two TVs from a Plant Street apartment Wednesday, Macon police said.
A resident living in the 900 block of Plant Street told police he left home at 8 a.m. and returned from work at 10 p.m. to find his living room and bedroom had been ransacked, according to a police report.
The resident said wrapped Christmas gifts, valued at $500, were taken as were two 19-inch flat screen plasma TVs, according to the report.
The apartment was scheduled for a maintenance check Wednesday.
Police said there were no signs of forced entry.
