Man accused of child molestation

A Macon man was charged with child molestation Tuesday for an April incident in which he’s accused of exposing his genitals to a 10-year-old girl.

Charles Mosely, 30, was arrested at his Madison Street residence by the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, said Warner Robins police detective Karen Stokes. April 12, two girls, both 10, were walking down Cherren Dale Drive in Warner Robins when a motorist stopped to ask for directions, Stokes said. When one of the girls walked to the vehicle to give the driver directions, he exposed himself, the detective said.

As he was driving away, the girl got the tag number, Stokes said. The girl was able to pick out Mosely from a photo lineup, the detective said. Mosely was charged with child molestation.

Mosely, a convicted sex offender, was being held without bond in the Houston County jail, Stokes said.
