WR police investigating armed robbery

WARNER ROBINS — Warner Robins police are investigating a reported armed robbery Friday morning outside the Freedom Fuel convenience store, 1236 Watson Blvd., police said.

Benjamin Kitchens, 59, of Warner Robins, told police that he was using the pay phone when the robber put a gun to the back of his head and demanded his wallet, Karen Stokes, a police detective, said.

The robber, and three other men who had stood at the front of the store, ran across Watson Boulevard past the Fish House and south down Orchard Way, Kitchens told police.
