Man robbed at motel

A man was robbed Wednesday night at the Scottish Inn, 1044 Riverside Drive, by a man who used a plastic gun, according to the Macon police.

The victim told police he went to get a new remote for his TV and a man wearing a black hooded jacket followed him into the motel office and then followed him outside, according to a police report.

The robber asked if the man wanted a prostitute and then pulled out what appeared to be a gun demanding his wallet, according to the report.

The man ran toward the office and the robber tackled him, dropping the plastic gun and taking the victim’s wallet, according to the report.

The robber ran away on Riverside Drive, according to the report.
