Police looking for suspect in east Macon shooting

Macon police are investigating a shooting that happened late Friday in the Fort Hill neighborhood in east Macon.

Ulyless Pitts, 30, was shot three times in the chest, left arm and left leg outside of 1087 Fort Hill St. about 9:38 p.m., police spokesman Lt. Eric Walker said.

Pitts was transported to The Medical Center of Central Georgia where he was treated for his injuries and remained in stable condition.

Walker said Pitts was shot by an unidentified black male dressed in black.

Detectives had not determined a motive or made an arrest in the incident.

Walker could not confirm if Pitts was a resident of the neighborhood.
