Bibb store robbed by man wearing Halloween mask

A man wearing a Halloween mask and wielding a knife robbed a convenience store manager as she opened the business at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The robbery occurred at the Marathon, 5013 Harrison Road.

The store manager said a man approached her with a large knife and demanded cash, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

The manager gave the man cash from the register and he ran away toward Harrison Road, according to the release.
