Macon man accused in home invasion

A Macon man accused of taking part in a home invasion Monday was arrested, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Three men forced their way into a home, located in the 3700 block of Kings Park Circle in east Bibb County just after 3:30 p.m., according to a sheriff’s office news release.

One of the men brandished a handgun while the three demanded cash, according to the release.

The lone female resident of the home was not injured.

She dialed 911 immediately after the men left, giving deputies descriptions and the identity of a man she recognized by voice, according to the release.

Members of the sheriff’s office Narcotics and Vice Unit working nearby found 18-year-old Coby Durham hiding behind a house on East Royal Court, according to the release.
