A teen rodeo rider hung her head on her horse’s mane Sunday in a happy reunion after two of the family’s horses were stolen Friday.

Locust Grove police announced on Facebook that the horses and trailer were found Sunday, and they were waiting for the family to arrive from Perry, where the Georgia High School Rodeo Association held the Southeastern Showdown Friday through Sunday.

The theft of the truck, trailer and horses was shared on social media and touched animal lovers all across the country.

“Needless to say, this is one happy young lady,” the officers posted on Facebook once the family was reunited with the horses.
