Man accused of repeatedly stabbing wife in face with steak knife

A New York man is jailed in Macon after allegedly trying to kill his wife by stabbing her in the face and head with a steak knife.

Emanuel Dewayne Williams Sr., 38, of Niagara Falls, is charged with aggravated assault and kidnapping after his wife suffered several cuts at Pendleton Homes on Houston Avenue in Bibb County on March 5.

Williams, who also lived on Key Street in Macon, was arrested Saturday, according to jail records.

Sierra Jackson told investigators she was breaking up with Williams and he became angry as she was driving. She tried to escape by jumping from the car twice, but he pulled her back into the car and drove them to her apartment at Pendleton Homes.

They continued to argue inside the unit.

When he came at her with a knife, she ran to a neighbor’s apartment and banged on the door, yelling for help. He grabbed her from behind and repeatedly stabbed her, leaving several lacerations on her face and head, according to witness statements in the incident report.
