Houston County Habitat seeking old or unwanted electronics as part of e-cyling event

Houston County Habitat for Humanity and the United Recyclers of America are hosting a free “e-cycling” event in April in honor of Earth Day 2015.

The public is encouraged to bring outdated, broken or unwanted computers and electronics to Houston County Habitat’s new location at 955 Watson Blvd. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, April 1-22. Those who bring in two or more items will get raffle tickets and a chance to win prizes, according to a news release. Habitat will not accept televisions, CRT monitors or large appliances such as refrigerators and stoves.
