The Macon Vet Center’s mobile center will be at the Perry VA clinic Friday.
The mobile center will be at the clinic at 2370 South Houston Lake Road from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., according to a news release.
Veterans, their family members and anyone else who is interested is invited to stop by to get information about VA services. VA staff will be on hand to discuss any needs veterans may have in readjusting to civilian life, as well as connecting veterans to VA services and community resources.
The mobile vet center is a high-tech vehicle similar to a recreational vehicle that allows the VA to provide outreach services and counseling in remote areas, according to the release. Veterans can get help with post-traumatic stress issues, military sexual trauma and family counseling.
