Warner Robins police offer Coffee with a Cop event Monday
WARNER ROBINS -- A fourth Coffee with a Cop event with Warner Robins police is scheduled for Monday morning.
The event offers community members a chance to sit down with a police officer in an informal setting to talk about issues important to them and to get to know the officer.
The event is scheduled for 8-10 a.m. at Chick-fil-A at 790 Ga. 96 in Bonaire.
“We’re excited for this edition of Coffee with a Cop,” Warner Robins police Chief Brett Evans stated in a release. “We enjoy listening to our residents’ concerns and hope more people feel comfortable coming out and talking to us at this event.”
Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative supported by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. The initiative aims to foster lasting connections among police and the communities they serve.
