PERRY -- It’s a good time to do your spring cleaning if you live in Perry.
The city announced it will launch Clean-Up Perry Week beginning at 7 a.m. April 20 and ending at 4 p.m. April 24. The city’s solid waste division will pick up unwanted items at curbside such as yard debris, bulk waste items, furniture, items from spring cleaning and paint cans. The city prefers that no more than four tires per household be brought out. Clean-Up Perry Week is tied to the Great American Cleanup, which kicks off in more than 20,000 communities each spring. For more information on the Perry event, call Todd Ennis at 478-988-2739.
