One of two suspects charged with murder and armed robbery in connection with the shooting death of a man Wednesday is in custody.
Sherod Ranardo Holston, 24, turned himself in at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Office on Saturday morning, according to a release. He was charged with murder, armed robbery and violation of probation.
Holston was taken to the Bibb County jail. Bond has not been set.
Still at large is Antwan Denard Johnson, 25, also of Macon. The two are accused of shooting and killing Ulysses Pitts early Wednesday. Pitts was shot multiple times at his home on McCall Road while his young grandchildren were inside the home.
The grandchildren went to a neighbor’s house and reported the shooting.
