WARNER ROBINS -- A 52-year-old man was assaulted, robbed and left without his vehicle in a Thanksgiving Day incident, according to a police report.
The victim, who was bleeding from a cut on the head, told police he was assaulted by two men who took his vehicle, the report said. The man, from Warner Robins, was taken to Houston Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, the report stated.
The 7:23 p.m. assault involved some sort of metal pipe and happened at Robins Drive and Watson Boulevard, according to the report.
Two men were picked up by police in connection with the incident, the report said. But a robbery charge against each was later dismissed by a Houston County prosecutor, according to court records.
