The state Department of Transportation will discuss proposed plans for a roundabout on the Ga. 247 Connector in Byron at a public information meeting Sept. 23.
The proposed roundabout would be located at the intersection of the Ga. 247 Connector and John E. Sullivan/Walker Road.
The change would allow traffic to flow more smoothly through the congested area, according to a news release.The meeting will be held 5-7 p.m. at the Byron City Hall Complex-Old School Cafeteria, 202 Moseley Road in Byron.
Residents may express their thoughts and concerns about the project at the meeting.
