Frito-Lay employees will collect donated supplies and care-package items Saturday to ship to troops serving overseas.
The collection will take place 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kroger on Watson Boulevard. After that, the Frito-Lay tractor-trailer holding the donations will be parked on-site for one week.
The tractor-trailer then will travel to other cities in Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky collecting supplies until Oct. 31.
There will be eight stops, according to a news release.
