The public is invited to offer comments Monday on the ability of the Houston County 911 Center to comply with accreditation standards.
Comments may be made at a public information session at 10 a.m. at the County Commissioners Board Room at the Houston County Annex at 202 Carl Vinson Parkway in Warner Robins, according to a news release from the Houston County 911 Center.
The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. looks at four areas: administration; policy and procedures; operations; and support services, the release said. Comments, limited to 10 minutes, should be focused on the agency’s ability to comply with CALEA’s standards.
A copy of the standards is available at the Houston County 911 Center, according to the release.
Written comments may be sent to the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Inc., 10302 Eaton Place, Suite 100, Fairfax, VA 22030-2215, or e-mailed to email@example.com.
