The Warner Robins Fire Department will conduct its annual hydrant testing starting March 29, weather permitting.
The testing, which will last about six weeks, may stir up sediment in water lines. If that happens, the fire department advises residents to let the water run several minutes to clear the line.
The department also advises waiting several hours to do laundry because clothes may become stained if washed too soon after sediment has been detected in the water.
