Houston sheriffs’ golf event to benefit youth homes

WARNER ROBINS — The Houston County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a golf tournament Monday with proceeds to benefit the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes.

The golf tournament is being held at the Houston Lake Country Club, according to organizers.

The tournament is a four-person scramble. The entry fee is $100 per person, or $400 per team, or $100 per hole sponsor.

Entry includes lunch, range balls, tournament fee and reception. The luncheon is at 11 a.m., the shotgun start at 1 p.m. and the reception and awards at 5:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the top three low gross, top three low net and closed to pin on all Par 3’s.
